Haywood County Animal Services lists “nuisance animal complaints” among its duties — barking typically falls under that, though the county’s page doesn’t spell out barking specifically.

To report it: call Animal Services (below). Have the address, a description of the dog if you know it, and how often and how long the barking happens — an officer needs those details to open a complaint.

Inside a town: your town may also have its own noise ordinance — town hall can tell you if a separate report there helps.
